Meteorites have been found after Cuba daytime meteor event! FIRST INTERVIEWS
Fesh fallen Vinales Meteorites
Several meteorites have been found in western Cuba after a huge meteor event in broad daylight on Friday, February 1, 2019. We have the first exclusive interviews from residents to the Cuba meteorite fall!
A giant fireball was witnessed around 1:15 pm eastern time on february 1st 2019.
Thousands of locals from pinar del rio to vinales cuba witnessed a giant meteorite explosion that rumbled and shook the ground. Glasses broke, and animals of all sizes jumped from their hiding places. As a giant line of smoke was witnessed it first was believed to be a plane that exploded and crashed.
A possible strewn-field of about 25 km was established with meteorites being discovered in pinar del rio and vinales!

Meteorite have been found!
The majority of the specimens being recovered in or around the vinales valley mural of prehistory. One meteorite actually was striking the famous painting!

Meteorites literally rained down on the land producing a historic and memorable experience for all those lucky enough to witness.
According to space agency’s Center for Near Earth Objects (CNEOS) the meteor exploded with a total energy equivalent of 1,400 tons TNT. The Cuba meteorite explosion was one of the more powerful of this events to be recorded in the past times. It stands in comparison to the superbolide which blew up over Chelyabinsk, Russia, in 2013 which had 400 - 500 hundred thousand tons of TNT.
Several fragments of meteorites was found all over the area by locals in the hours and days after this event.
